Beluru, Halebidu & Pushpagiri Trip - 05-12-24

“A JOURNEY IS BEST MEASURED IN FRIENDS, RATHER THAN MILES.” SRSPVS organized an excursion to Belur, Halebeedu & Pushpagiri hill which is a learning experience, encourages curiosity and is also a best tool to provide real world experience. Memories of school educational trips are among the most prominent of the childhood years, largely because they are a welcome break in the routine for both students and teachers. Purpose is essentially to educate and can also be a fun bonding experience. Children were awestruck with the magnificent style of architecture. Totally the excursion was full of fun and informative.

Puppet Show – 31-11-2024

The Puppet Show was aimed to engage the pre-primary kids of SRSPVS in a unique and interactive way, fostering their imagination and creativity. It provided them with an opportunity to actively participate in story-narrating with communication skills through the use of puppets. Additionally, the elements of surprise added an extra layer of excitement and anticipation to their play and learn activities.

School Level Annual Science Expo
“ Vigyan Vikasan ” - 2024

“Everything is theoretically impossible, until it is done”

School Level Annual Science Expo “Vigyan Vikasan - 2024” was organized recently, in the school premises to create a scientific temperament among the students. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Vaibhav Kenchamba, A well known Dentist,V Care Super Speciality Dental Hospital, Hassan. Inspired, encouraged and motivated by the teachers and the parents, the budding scientists of SRSPVS displayed variety of models, projects and experiments with great enthusiasm and zeal. Our Pre-school toddlers were also witnessed the expo.

Children’s Day – 14-11-2024

“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of our nation and the citizens of tomorrow.”

A day marking childhood- Children’s day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter, popularly known as ‘Chacha Nehru’. The occasion is celebrated every year with grand splendor and fiesta at SRSPVS. Today, a Special Assembly was conducted for children with an endearing presentation by the teachers.

The cultural programme commenced with lamp lighting by the dignitaries and floral tribute to the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated. There was excitement in the air and the little ones left the school with a bag full of stories about their special day at school.

“Children are a treasure of hidden talents & creative ideas.”

This saying was proved rightly by an Art & Craft Expo - 2024

The students of preschool created amazing showpieces, displaying their creativity and aesthetic talents. Their mind blowing crafts made of various natural materials were exhibited in the school premises aesthetically. Our budding artists left all the viewers dumbfound & full of praise for the talent on display. However, the success of the event wouldn’t have been possible without the crucial role played by the parents of all the students. We thank all the parents of preschool for their strong support & contribution to the expo.

Drawing Day – 06-11-2024

Drawing "acts as a powerful way for caregivers to understand how a child is feeling”. Drawing helps the children to develop fine motor skills as they learn to control their finger grip and movement to the ideas they are expressing. To explore this, SRSPVS recently organised Drawing day for the preschool toddlers. All our tiny toddlers involved actively and showcased their talent.

Deepavali - 30-10-24

It has always been an Endeavour of SRSPVS to instill cultural values and traditions among students. The Deepavali celebrations at SRSPVS was a wonderful amalgamation of devotion, creativity.

Deepavali is a festival that celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance, eradicating negativity and doubts. It promotes illuminating our cores with clarity and positivity. To increase the festival's brilliance and light the lamp, we have distributed Diyas to all our tiny tots.

Hassanamba Flower Show - 28-10-24

“Flowers are the best of nature’s art.”

Students of SRSPVS were taken to Silver Jubilee Park to view different kinds of Flower arrangement and vegetable carving which were displayed at the Flower Show. The purpose of this visit was to provide students with hands-on experience, expand their botanical knowledge, and foster an understanding of the importance of conserving plant diversity.

Dasara - 07-10-24

"A time for celebration. A time for the triumph of good over evil. A moment when the world witnesses the power of righteousness."

To promote the cultural significance of Dasara, the ‘Festival of Dolls’, a unique tradition practiced during the festivities, was recreated in our school auditorium. Children brought a variety of dolls, from old mythological figures to modern-day dolls, which were elegantly arranged and exhibited on a stepped platform. A customary pooja was performed from 3rd October to 12th October for the Dasara dolls. Our students viewed the beautiful display, and group photos were taken to commemorate the occasion.

Grandparents Day – 11-09-2024

At SRSPVS Pre-School, we celebrated Grandparents Day with great enthusiasm and joy. This special event, held on 11th September, 2024 was a heartfelt tribute to the grandparents who form the cornerstone of our family values.

The day began with a traditional lighting of the lamp, setting a warm and respectful tone for the celebrations. Dr. Hampanahally Thimmegowda, retired Dean, professor in Kannada and a well known Janapada expert graced the occasion and addressed the gathering with his inspirational speech. Our pre-schoolers were thrilled to see their grandparents participate in a series of fun filled-recreational games. The grandparents displayed incredible enthusiasm and energy, fully immersing themselves in the activities and bringing out their playful sides. Their active participation was met with cheers and applause from their grandchildren, making the atmosphere both lively and heartwarming.

Cultural performances by the higher grade students were a acclamation to the grandparents, showcasing the children's affection and love.

Overall, Grandparents Day was a memorable occasion for both the grandparents and the school community. It reinforced the importance of family bonds and created cherished memories for everyone involved.

We are grateful to all the grandparents for their enthusiastic participation and for making the day truly special.

Krishna Janamashtami -26-08-2024

It has always been an endeavour of SRSPVS to instil cultural values and traditions among students. The Janmashtami celebrations at SRSPVS was a wonderful amalgamation of devotion, creativity and fun that provided students with a unique opportunity to learn about Indian mythology and culture. Cute children from our preschool were costumed as Krishna and Radha. The significance of the day was described by the teachers. We all saw a moment of dedication. The day was meaningful and memorable.

78th Independence Day

SRSPVS celebrated 78th Independence Day for the pre-school toddlers with all passion and zealous. The event began with photo puja by the dignitaries. Later, a fancy dress activity was organised for the pre-school little champs. Kids were dressed up in beautiful costumes depicting the role of freedom fighters and famous personalities. All the participants came on the stage and spoke about their character. Truly, they won our hearts with their exuberance and enthusiasm. Through this they made the day meaningful.

“Math Activity" was conducted for our preschool toddlers recently. Math is part of student's everyday lives. It helps students to develop their mathematical thinking. The skills that students can learn and enhance through math activities have knock-on benefits in other areas of learning.

Field Trip- 03-07-24

Activity based learning is important to bridge the gap between education and hands- on experience, so moving beyond classroom learning, SRSPVS had organized an educational field trip to the ancient elegance- “Doddagaddavalli”. The students were made aware of the significance and the historical importance of the iconic monuments. Later, students visited “Seege Gudda” where the students curiously viewed about how the “wind mills” rotate. After that they visited temple with the statue of lord Shiva surrounded with beautiful nature. All these provided children with a unique and invaluable learning experience that fosters a sense of responsibility, empathy and connection to the natural world. The educational trip provided an enriching and knowledgeable experience to students.

On account of “Doctors’ Day” today our pre-school toddlers visited to different hospitals and wished the renowned doctors for their invaluable service to the society in providing good health. Our school kids interacted with doctors to get more information about health & hygiene. Doctors motivated our kids with their informative & encouraging words. World Environment Day - 05-06-24

Our school celebrated World Environment Day on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, with a vibrant and educational programme that emphasized the importance of environmental conservation. The event featured with planting saplings and a series of activities making it a memorable day for all attendees.

Aksharabyasa - 23-05-2024

“Journey into Education” SRSPVS Nursery & Prep-1 Inaugural Ceremony 2024-25

SRSPVS celebrated the start of the 2024-25 academic year by welcoming Nursery & Prep-1 newly admitted students through an Aksharabhyasa Ceremony in the name “Vidyarambham” held on 23.05.2024, Thursday at the school premises.

Dr. Yathishwar, Principal, AVK Women's First Grade College, Hassan and Mr. Rajagopala Setty, President, SRSPVS graced the event. The day included a special pooja to Goddess Saraswathi, where children wrote 'OM' with turmeric sticks on rice-filled plates. Dignitaries shared inspiring words and blessings, emphasizing the importance of education and values in child upbringing, marking a promising start to the new academic year. The dress code for the day was traditional dress; all the students, parents and teachers the traditional dress that added the additional aroma for the programme.
