Graduation Day - 30.03.2024

“Graduation is a time to celebrate new beginnings. It is warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future.”

To celebrate the academic progression and intellectual development of students, the Pre-primary wing of SRSPVS organised Graduation Day today. To encourage the students to be great learners, Dr. Amogh Gowda, Neuro Surgeon, Manjunatha Hospital, Hassan graced the occasion with his presence. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The Chief Guest felicitated the students with Certificate of Graduation & complimented the graduates on their achievements. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for not only the little ones but also a proud moment for the parents and the mentors as they witnessed their children receiving their Graduation Day Diplomas from the Chief Guest.

National Science Day - 28.02.2024

SRSPVS celebrated “National Science Day – 2024” to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by Sir C V Raman. Our school president Mr. R Rajagopala Setty sir inaugurated the programme with great fervour. On this occasion motivational and inspirational speeches were delivered by students. Further it was followed by PPT presentation related to the theme and importance of the day. Overall the programme was meaningful and informative for all the students.

Food Fiesta - 24.02.2024

SRSPVS organised "Food Fiesta-2024" on 24.02.2024, Saturday for the grades 3 to 8. Students participated with high enthusiasm and sold the home-made and healthy dishes in a great zeal. Most of the parents visited and tasted the variety of delicacies of food. We thank all the parents for their constant support and co-operation.

Republic Day - 26.01.2024

“Our nation is the greatest in the world, but let us strive to make it even better.” SRSPVS celebrated the 75th Republic Day with pride and reverence. School's President, Mr. R Rajagopala Setty unfurled the national flag. Further, to mark the importance of this day, cultural programme was organized in the school premises which included march past, speeches, patriotic songs, clap and snap, dance performances, aerobics, flag drill and many more. Everyone was imbued with the spirit of patriotism and celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm.

“SRS PRAJNAYAANA- 2023”

1st Day - 18.12.2023

SRSPVS celebrated its Annual Day “SRS PRAJNAYAANA- 2023” with vibrancy from 18th December 2023 to 20th December 2023. The first day programme was presided & inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Ravi Kumar B C, Director, HIMS, Hassan along with trustees. Entailing the formal welcome, the progressive annual report was presented. This was followed by the Prize distribution ceremony to the students who excelled in Grade 10 Board Examination- 2023. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest stated that the students should not only be imparted excellent education but also be given great scruple and values so they can effectively serve their nation. Later, our students danced to the tune of songs with colourful props. The audience was enthralled by the colourful and very well directed dances. The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent.



2nd Day - 19.12.2023

SRSPVS celebrated its Annual Day “SRS PRAJNAYAANA- 2023” with vibrancy from 18th December 2023 to 20th December 2023. The second day programme was presided & inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mrs. G. N. Manjula, B.E.O., Hassan along with trustees. Entailing the formal welcome, the progressive annual report was presented. This was followed by the Prize distribution ceremony to meritorious students who excelled in academics during the year 2022-23. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest stated that school day programmes provide platform to exhibit talents. So, students have to make use of opportunities to exhibit their hidden talents for all round development. Later, our students danced to the tune of songs with colourful props. The audience was enthralled by the colourful and very well directed dances. The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent.



3rd day - 20.12.2023

SRSPVS celebrated its Annual Day “SRS PRAJNAYAANA- 2023” with vibrancy from 18th December 2023 to 20th December 2023. The third day programme was presided & inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Sudarshan Channangihally, Chief Editor, Vijaya Karnataka daily, Bengaluru along with trustees. Entailing the formal welcome, the progressive annual report was presented. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony for the participants of State & National Level Competitions. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest stated that parents should allow their children to choose their own goal instead of forcing their choice and also said that the usage of electronic gadgets could both be positive & negative, depending on how the children use it. Later, our students danced to the tune of songs with colourful props. The audience was enthralled by the colourful and very well directed dances. The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent.

Science Expo - 25-11-2023

“Science begins with wonder, scientific temperament and rational thinking”

School Level Science Expo “Vigyan Tarang - 2023” was organized yesterday, in the school premises to create a scientific temperament among the students. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr Ahmed Hagare, Lecturer, Science enthusiast & Scientific Analyst. Inspired, encouraged and motivated by the teachers and the parents, the budding scientists of SRSPVS displayed different models and experiments with great enthusiasm and excitement. The exhibition was open from 11.30am to 3:30pm and the parents were also provided an opportunity to view it. The scary house & the innovative working models grabbed the viewer's attention. On the whole, the Science expo was a great learning experience for the students wherein it seemed that the world of science practically came alive, through the blooming projects of our young student innovators.

Insect Expo - 06-11-2023

‘Historical things, Variety of Insects Collection & Books Exhibition’ was organised by the Horticulture University, Mudigere in collaboration with other organisations. Our school students were escorted by their teachers to the venue. Students witnessed another world of nature as they walked through the gallery. Their visit to this exhibition turned out to be a sort of brief study tour during which children learned about the beautiful world of variety of insect species & early stages of insects.

Kannada Rajyosthava – 01.11.2023

On 01-11-2023, the 68th Kannada Rajyotsava was meaningfully celebrated in the our school. Mr. R. Rajagopal Shetty, President of the organization, inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp and offering floral tributes to Kannadambe's portrait. In the program, the students added to the excitement of the Kannada Rajyotsava celebration by performing programmes related to Kannada language, poetry, costumes, group songs, metaphors, folk songs, and dances to Kannada songs.

Celebrations of Dasara – 24.10.2023

A time for victory of good over evil. A time when the world sees the example of power of good.

To promote the cultural significance of Dasara, ‘Festival of dolls’ – a unique tradition practised during the Dasara festivities was recreated in our school auditorium. Children brought variety of dolls from the old mythological dolls to the present age dolls which were elegantly arranged and exhibited on the stepped platform. Customary pooja was performed from 15th October to 24th October for the Dussehra dolls. Our students viewed the arrangement of dolls & group photos were taken.

Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti -02.10.2023

On 02.10.2023, SRSPVS celebrated the birth anniversaries of two great leaders – Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri to bring awareness of their values and principles among the children. At the outset a cleanliness drive was conducted to encourage everyone to take the necessary steps to ensure cleaner and greener surroundings. The programme began with the garlanding of portraits of Gandhiji, the father of our nation and Lal Bahadur Shastri, the former prime minister of India. The performances included the popular bhajans “Vaishnav Jan To” and “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram”, speeches, patriotic songs, PPT and video. Dignitaries urged the audience to embrace the values of simplicity, self-esteem, and honesty exhibited by these great leaders. Ultimately, the students got motivated to follow the footsteps of these great personalities in every walk of life.


"Cleanliness is next to Godliness"

On account of the birth anniversaries of two great leaders – Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji, a cleanliness drive was conducted in and around our school premises by the students to encourage everyone to take the necessary steps to ensure cleaner and greener surroundings.

Eco Friendly Ganapa Expo – 18.09.2023

To enhance the creativity and also to sensitize the students towards the environment, SRSPVS conducted “Eco Friendly Ganapa Expo- 2023”. Young learners enthusiastically prepared innovative & creative Ganesha idols and were excited to keep them for display in the school auditorium on the auspicious day of Ganesha Chaturth. The festival awakened devotion, creativity and learning amongst children.

Grand Parents Day - 13-09-2023

"Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation."

To honour them SRSPVS – Pre-school wing celebrated Grandparents Day yesterday. The event began with the lighting of the lamp followed by games for grandparents. The children were very excited to see their grandparents participate in the games and cheered them wholeheartedly. The grandparents were very sportive and brought out the child in them through their active participation. Further, there were cultural performances by the students to honour and express gratitude to grandparents. The Grandparents appreciated and shared their views on the SRSPVS effort to make a connection between the generations through these events. Indeed it was a memorable moment for Grandparents and our School.

Krisna Janmashtami – 07.09.2023

“Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter indeed than any happiness, and joy is the company, is the power of the name of Krishna.”

SRSPVS immersed in the divine spirit of Janamashtami! The birthday of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. The celebration area of Janmashtami was colourful with flowers and painted pots. The celebration began with the most auspicious Pooja to the Lord Krishna. The students were dressed up as little Krishnas, Radhas, Gopikas making the place of celebration a mini Brindavan. The celebration of Sri Krishna Janmashtami carried joy and the feeling of unity among the students of pre-school. The day was a delightful divine journey for the students.

Teacher’s Day – 05.09.2023

“Teachers don’t impact for a year, but for lifetime.”

The teacher’s day was celebrated by the students of SRSPVS today to express their gratitude for the immense contribution put forth by their teachers towards their all-round development. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp & offering floral tribute to the portrait of the great educationalist & former president of India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Fun filled games were planned at the school premises which reminded the teachers of their school days and made them feel nostalgic.
Various performances like songs, power point presentation, speeches & motivational videos were presented on Dr. Radhakrishnan and the role of teachers in shaping and molding the students for their better future.
The students also performed colourful eye-catching activities like dance, song, skit, karate katha skill show & confab. Few students delivered a beautiful speech on Teachers’ Day. Some students emulated their favourite teachers. Thus, the entire celebration paved a new hope for teachers to rejoice the journey as a teacher.

Raksha Bandhan – 30.08.2023

“Rakhi is a bond of togetherness.”

The bonding between a brother and a sister is simply unique and is beyond description in words. “Raksha Bandhan” is a special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding. SRSPVS celebrated Raksha Bandhan with full zeal and endeavour. Raksha Bandhan emphasises both sisters and brothers protecting and helping each other for a better tomorrow. The students, in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi . The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambience and lifted the spirit. Indeed, it was a memorable day and enabled the students to nurture a healthy and prosperous relationship among them.

77th Independence Day – 15.082023

SRSPVS celebrated nation’s “77th Independence Day” with patriotic zeal & exuberance. The day commenced with the customary flag hoisting of the tri-colour followed by the National Anthem. This was followed by a musical rendition by the school choir which sang patriotic songs that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. After that, the students performed March-past. Further, dignitaries addressed the students with their inspiring words. The day unfolded with spectacular performances comprising of speeches, mixed drill, yogic performances, group songs, group dances & patriotic performances. Indeed, it was a day of patriotism, a day to respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.

Movie Show – 31.07.2023

“Educational movies are a key component of learning”

The students of nursery to Grade 10 were taken to auditorium for a special screening of the popular movie ‘Munnudi’. Munnudi is a story which will take the kids along its journey making them realize the importance of Education. The movie engaged the students and was a significant break from their daily routine. It was a fun-filled day with a great learning experience for them.

Yoga Day – 21.06.2023

On 21st June 2023, SRSPVS celebrated “9th International Yoga Day” with great enthusiasm. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students practiced & performed sitting and standing asanas. The Chief guest Dr. Yashas U, Expert in Ayurveda & Yoga, SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Hassan addressed the gathering on the importance of yoga practice in our day- to- day life. Also, students presented speeches, songs, ppt and demonstrated rhymthmic yoga, pyramid formation , yogic naatyam showing the strength of Yoga and the flexibility attained on doing it. Overall, it was a rewarding session as it rejuvenated everyone with boundless energy.

Kargil Vijay Diwas – 26.07.2023

On account of Kargil Vijay Diwas, SRSPVS celebrated India’s victory of Kargil War at our school today. We remembered the valour, sacrifice and exemplary courage of our brave soldiers who gave up their lives for our future. Dignitaries & students showered flowers on Amar Jawan statue and lighted the candles. Two minutes of mourning was observed to pay tribute to the Kargil martyrs.

Dental Care Day - 18.07.2023

Dental Care day was organised for Pre School Kids at school campus on 18.07.2023. Dr. Vaibhav and team from V-Care Super Speciality Hospital, K R Puram, Hassan have checked the teeth of all our Pre-School kids and suggested remedies for kids who have dental issues.
Dentists presented PPT pertaining to oral hygiene, ways of brushing teeth and tips to maintain good and healthy teeth.
This was the initiation taken to create awareness about teeth and oral hygiene among kids.

The world environment day – 05.06.2023

The world environment day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. Keeping this aim in view, SRSPVS celebrated World Environment with a well known nature enthusiast, environmentalist Mr. Hemmige Mohan, coffee planter, Hassan was the chief guest. Respected President (SRSPVS) Mr. R Rajagopala Setty presided over the function. Dignitaries inaugurated the ceremony by planting saplings. Following the inaugural ceremony, students presented song, speech & ppt pertaining to the importance of the day. The theme of this year ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’ was highlighted through a beautiful one act play. Dignitaries addressed the students, giving environmental day message. The event was conducted successfully with whole hearted participation and awareness for a greener World.

Vidyarambham - 22.05.2023

"A good education is a foundation for a better future"

SRSPVS welcomed Nursery & Prep-1 tiny toddlers for the academic year 2023-24 with an auspicious Vidyarambham ceremony. This was an auspicious day for the tiny tots where they took their first step into the world of knowledge. Mr. Parameshwara Bhat, Sanskrit Resource Person & Head Master, Hassan & Mr. Rajagopala Setty, President of SRSPVS presided over the function. The event was solemnized with a special pooja to Goddess Saraswathi. As the traditional way of beginning, the tiny tots were made to write ‘OM’ with their tender fingers on the plate filled with rice using the turmeric stick. Dignitaries inspired everybody with their thought-provoking words and also blessed the children. They gave their suggestions on the upbringing of the children and inculcating the values. It was really an auspicious beginning to the new academic year
